Would you like to serve behind the scenes to help make the walks and gatherings happen? The FSE board has three openings that we will be filling in June. If you'd like to serve your community and help it all come together, drop us a note and let us know. Board members attend monthly meetings & gatherings and serve behind the scenes at the walks. Members attend monthly board meetings and gatherings, and have an assigned role leading up to and during the walks. This is a great position to help prepare you for servant leadership in your church!

  • Position #1 serves through the end of 2018
  • Position #2 serves through the end of 2019
  • Position #3 serves through the end of 2020
Psalm 113:3 “From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised.”

We’re still taking applications for the fall walks. If you would like to sponsor a pilgrim, you can download the application from our website, or grab one from Doug Bradley at the gathering. We have a scholarship fund available if you need help with the finances. This is a milestone in the life of our community as we surpass fifty walks, so please join us as we celebrate this golden time. Our next Walk dates are:

  • Walk 50 - men - October 4-7 - Central Baptist
  • Walk 51 - women - October 11-14 - Central Baptist
  • Fourth Day Gathering - October 20 - Covenant UMC
John 4:14 “but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
Agape - from Pat Pack

De Colores Everyone! As your Agape chairwoman, I want to encourage each Emmaus reunion group to begin thinking and collecting your Agape (gifts of love) for our October Walks to Emmaus. We will need sixty for the men’s and for the women’s walks. I still remember the pleasant surprise of receiving my Agape during my walk. Each piece of Agape still reminds me of my Savior’s unconditional love. The prayers and hours of service given by so many people from different churches, that made my walk so successful, are needed again this year. I ask that as you make your agape that you pray for God’s will be done for each pilgrim during this year’s walks, so that our Lord may be glorified. - Pat Pack, FSE Board

1st Corinthians 12: 6 “God works through different people in different ways, but it is the same God who achieves His purpose through them all.”
