## Modelling ProjectBy: Menna Sherif

We were asked to choose a topic, then we collect and organize data with at least 15 points, and graphed labeled the x-axis and the y-axis. So I decided to choose the population in the USA.

That's how my graph looks like

After that we were asked to split the data into 3 equal intervals, then we had to find a line of best fit for each of the 3 intervals

Table 1
Table 2
Table 3

My line of best fit in Table 1 was 40 and 50. For table 2, was 70 and 90. Finally for table 3, it was 130 and 160.

After that we had to find the slope and the y-intercept for the data from each interval from the line of best fit that we chose.

This is my calculations
This is my line of best fit for my entire data set

After that we had to make predictions for the population in US in 2067. I saw on my data in 2067 the population is going to be 250 million people. That is actually not a big amount of people because it is now it is 140 million people and 250 million is gonna be the time after 50 years from the time. In 2112 the population in US is going to be 300 million people.
