Congratulations to Denise Tocci - This month's Support Employee of the Month.

At the beginning of each school year, three outstanding teachers are recognized and receive the BEST Award at Convocation. The BASD marked history this school year as we started a new tradition to highlight a support staff member and present them with the title of BASD Employee of the Month.

Dr. Joseph Roy, Superintendent of Schools, surprised Denise Tocci with the honor of being named the Bethlehem Area School District Employee of the Month for November 2019.

Denise is a secretary in the Bethlehem Area School District. She presently works for the principal at Liberty High School, Harrison Bailey. She also worked in other schools and departments including Northeast Middle School, Child Study Center, Freedom High School, and Clearview Elementary School. She has been employed with the district for over 26 years.

Dr. Roy stated; “Only a few special people have the juggling skills, the organizational skills, the people skills and the stamina to serve as the principal's secretary at a school of nearly 3,000 students. Denise has proven over the last several years that she is one of those very special people. Denise has long served the BASD at several schools and offices, but in the fast paced position of Liberty High School, she has truly proven her talent and her commitment to our students, teachers, staff and parents.”

We extend many thanks to Denise for her continued service to the district. Congratulations Denise.

Congratulations Denise we are #BASDProud of you!!!

This week we celebrated Veteran's Day throughout the district. Here is a video from Hanover Elementary School's Veteran's Day Assembly.
