2016 SEASON OVERVIEW

Under the guidance of first-year Head Coach Adam Gase, the 2016 season saw the Dolphins finish with a 10-6 record and earn a berth in the playoffs for the first time since 2008. After starting the 2016 season with a 1-4 record, the Dolphins utilized a six-game winning streak to help put themselves in playoff position. With a new canopy and a modernized stadium, the Dolphins wasted no time establishing a home-field advantage at Hard Rock Stadium.

2016 NFL DRAFT

The Dolphins On The Clock 2016 NFL Draft Party presented by Miami Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute at Baptist Health South Florida did not disappoint. The free event featured live insider analysis, current and former player autographs, interactive games, photo opportunities, concessions and areas to watch the 2016 NFL Draft. The room exploded with excitement when the Dolphins selected Ole Miss OT Laremy Tunsil at number 13.

TRAINING CAMP

The Miami Dolphins Training Camp unveiled several exciting changes geared to improve the fan experience as part of “Back to Football powered by South Florida Ford” at the Baptist Health Training Facility at Nova Southeastern University. This year’s training camp featured a brand new canopy over the seated area, providing fans with shade and a more comfortable experience than ever before. A new area reserved for children 12 years old and younger provided them with special access to get autographs from Dolphins players post practice. In addition, weekend practices featured food trucks, interactive games, and face painting.

HARD ROCK STADIUM ANNOUNCEMENT

2016 marked the inaugural year of Hard Rock Stadium. On August 17th, 2016, the announcement of Hard Rock Stadium was made in the exact way you would expect: music, memorabilia, lights and a guitar smashing ceremony. The Miami Dolphins welcomed Hard Rock International CEO, Jim Allen to participate in the festivities, alongside players Ndamukong Suh, Jarvis Landry and Reshad Jones, and Dolphins President & CEO Tom Garfinkel. Oh, and of course, Mr. 305 himself, Pitbull!

CANOPY AND VIDEOBOARD UNVEIL

With the new state-of-the-art open air canopy, 92% of fans are shaded and protected from the natural elements, making Hard Rock Stadium’s game-day experience one of the best in the NFL. Fans can enjoy the game from any seat on every level with four new high-definition video boards, totaling 22,400 square footage.

OFFICIAL PARTNER OF THE MIAMI DOLPHINS

As an Official Partner of the Miami Dolphins, MBAF receives the opportunity to leverage the Miami Dolphins marks in the South Florida market.

PLAYBOOK AD

MBAF received one full-page four-color advertisement in each edition of the Miami Dolphins Playbook. This playbook is distributed throughout Hard Rock Stadium on game day. The total number of Playbook's produced and distributed exceeds XXX.

GAME DAY HOSPITALITY

MBAF receives one game day executive suite, providing access for twenty guests to all Miami Dolphins home games. This suite is accompanied by eight game day parking passes.

USE OF STADIUM

Through MBAF's partnership with the Miami Dolphins, they receive the opportunity two private corporate events at Hard Rock Stadium. Each appearance could include one Miami Dolphins alumni, two Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders, and the Team's two Super Bowl Trophies.

MBAF opted to leverage one of these credits to enhance their Millennial Financial Responsibility event hosted at their corporate offices in Brickell. The Miami Dolphins were able to provide former Miami Dolphins running back, Shawn Wooden, two members of the Miami Dolphins Cheer Team, and the two Super Bowl trophies. The involvement was very well received and allowed for MBAF's guests to take photos and receive autographs.

In addition to the Millennials Financial Responsibility Event, MBAF hosted a Training Seminar at Hard Rock Stadium for a group of their accountants. This was a two-day Training Seminar that included lunch and a tour of Hard Rock Stadium. At the completion of the second day, MBAF hosted a small happy hour that included one Miami Dolphins alumni, two Cheerleaders, and the Super Bowl Trophies. The accountants in attendance were incredibly surprised and enjoyed the interaction.

SUITEHOLDER GIFTING & INTRODUCTIONS

Through the Miami Dolphins partnership, MBAF received the opportunity to create gifts that enhanced the suiteholders game day experience. Through the 2016 Season, MBAF gifted to over twenty-five long term suiteholder providing them with a custom Tiffany's football paper weight as well as custom foam finger and roller banners. These gifts were incredibly well received. The Miami Dolphins receive many notes and mentions of gratitude.

MIAMI DOLPHINS GAME DAY GUIDE

During the 2016 Season, MBAF received placement in all Miami Dolphins Game Day Guides. The Game Day Guide is an email dedicated to providing fans with the most current information for the upcoming home game. This provide information on gate openings, traffic patterns, unique game day enhancements among other things.

The total number of email distributed throughout the season exceeds 95,000 with an average open rate of 45%.

TICKET CREDIT

Through the partnership, MBAF receives a ticket credit of $5,000.00 to be leveraged for Miami Dolphins home games. This year, MBAF secured a block of group tickets to bring together their employees. This was an incredibly well received activation in the eyes of MBAF due to the engagement with the employees and the ease of getting everyone together!

In an effort to enhance the game day experience, the Miami Dolphins provided an hour long cheerleader appearance at their tailgate outside of the East Gate. In addition to this cheerleader appearance, the Dolphins were able to provide additional visibility in-stadium through the use of their videoboard lower corner box.
