Harvinjot Rai's Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration Encycopedia

Photosynthesis explanation: Photosynthesis is when plants turn energy into food for them. Chlorophyll is what gives the leaves their green color. The green part of the leaf absorbs the suns energy and its used to split water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen. Oxygen is released into the atmosphere. Meanwhile the Hydrogen and Carbon Dioxide are used to form glucose for food for plants. There is a light dependent reaction for photosynthesis. This is when Chlorophyll and other pigments take energy from the sun. The water is used to provide electrons and hadrons ions but also makes oxygen. Meanwhile the oxygen is once again going into the atmosphere. Electrons and Hydrogen ions are used to create ATP. ATP is an energy storage molecule. Photosynthesis is a big part of our lives because without plants there would be no oxygen. Without oxygen no living thing would be able to survive because we need oxygen to breath. <http://photosynthesiseducation.com>

Cellular Respiration: Some people mistake Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration. I will make it more clear for some people. Cellular Respiration is when orginaisms use oxeygen to break down food molecules to get chemical energy fir cell functrions. Cellular Respiration takes place in the cells of animals, plants, and fungi, and even algae and other microscopic cells. It is often called aerobic respiration because the process requires oxygen.
