Age of Exploration Sir Francis Drake

From 1544 to 1596 Drake was a explorer that was born in Tavistock Devon. In 1568 he was 23 when he made his first voyage to the america's with his second cousin sir john hawking's. On one of his relative's fleet ships. The reason he went was for the riches that he might get from the journey but the Spanyard's captured him and his cousin they escaped but Drake now wanted revenge on them. After a couple years he got what he wanted, money and fame and now he is one of the most known sea dog's in history.
