Mackenzie Wagner The university of findlay

I am a current full-time student at The University of Findlay. I am also a member the cheerleading team for football and basketball.

I am studying marketing in the college of business here at Findlay and plan on graduating in the spring of 2020.

I recently graduated from Van Buren High School in Van Buren, Ohio.

  • 3.2 GPA

  • Started a competitive cheerleading program at Van Buren in 2016 who competed at a state competition.
2016 Van Buren High School Competitive Cheerleading Team at State

13 year member of a competitive cheerleading team, Platinum All-Stars. During my time as an athlete I had the opportunity to win awards that took me to places such as Chicago to an international championship in Florida.

Being apart of a team for so long helped shape who I am today. Here I developed my knack for leadership skills, determination, work ethic and being able to work as a team and most importantly time management skills.

My countless hours in the gym landed my one of my first job in 2013 as a cheerleading coach. I work with kids all ages on a daily basis. I gained the ability to problem solve and rationalize with parents. Two skills that will be useful when dealing with any sort of customer.

In 2013 I also started working for a local boutique in Findlay, Ohio named Trends! On Main. Here I worked as a salesman trying to sell merchandise and formal dresses to customers.I gain experience in using a harbor touch register, sales, how to connect with customers and much more. I also had the opportunity to work at a 'sister store' of Trends! called Paloozas. Here I ran children's birthday parties and other small events. I would do everything from set up to tear down and anything in between (even dressing up as Disney characters). I learned to always roll with the punches and make the best out of any task at hand.
