Global Collaboration and Community June 6 - June 19, 2016
My online PLN is what keeps me going. We have PLC time, but it has not been formed into a time to discuss ideas, but rather make sure timelines are met and procedures are followed. My PLN rejuvenates me, giving me new ideas everyday. I am a mentor for a new teacher. She too was dismayed by lack of learning new things through our PLCs. I recommended she look to twitter and follow people that teach like things. This was very much what she needed and I feel that I saved a very bright new teacher from giving up on her teaching career. I will continue to use PLNs to enhance my teaching.
