Calypso Sea On a black pearl journey

The black pearl is an iconic symbol of the ocean and of French Polynesia. Pearl farming has become one of biggest economies next to tourism to these stunning remote Pacific islands. Today's farming practices are a relatively low impact oyster aquaculture that many Tahitian families can manage small farms on remote atolls.

Collecting, cleaning, harvesting, implanting, sorting... It's all in the life of a Tahitian Pearl farmer. No antibiotics, pesticides, foreign nutrient spill over, it's all natural.

A symbol of the ocean, the Pearl can be adorned in so many ways. I choose to design creations that suit every style. My designs are meant to be worn often either dressed up or down.
