Bio
Justin Esposito is a violinist/multi-instrumentalist versed in many genres and styles. He received his formal violin training from violinists Michael Ludwig and Lucia Lin of the Philadelphia Orchestra and Boston Symphony. After earning his B.M. from Boston University in 2005 and spending many summers at Tanglewood, Justin co-founded the hybrid-rock band Trees On Fire and released the ep “the Green Room” and the album“Organica”. He has performed across the United States with various artists, orchestras, and bands at festivals, amphitheaters and wineries. He has been a frequent guest collaborating recording artist for rock, folk, tango, and classical musicians and most recently helped co-produce songs for the album “Runaway Child” with blues rock guitarist, Willie DE.Justin enjoys playing Violin, Viola, Cello, Mandolin, Guitar, Piano, Synthesizers, and sound effects and is available as a session recording artist upon request.He plays on a custom made Guarneri model violin made by Collin Gallahue.
Soundtrack Work
Most Recently Justin has focussed his work in recording original compositions aimed to add dimension, landscape, and power to film. He has had compositions featured in Netflix films “The Dawn Wall” and “The Rebound” among others and enjoys working with filmmakers in contexts that honor the great work of people protecting our world and fragile ecosystems. Justin is available for commercial and private work by request to compose, arrange, record, or engineer.

Performances and Engagements
Teaching
As an educator, Justin has been music teacher at the Renaissance School and Music Director of the Charlottesville Waldorf School where he was acknowledged locally as Z95.1’s January 2020 Teacher of the month. His private students have placed in regional and all state orchestras. Lessons with Justin focus on refining technique and broadening perspectives towards music as well as discovering authenticity in expression. Private instruction is limited but available on zoom or in person by request.
