How A Caterpillar Changes By Amy Feijoo

The first stage is an egg. The egg is very small. It is about the size of a pin head. The egg is laid on a plant that the caterpillar will eat when it emerges from the egg. It will take around 7 days for the egg to hatch. When it does, a tiny little caterpillar will crawl out.
