Championship DI Women's Basketball

Billings, Mont. - The Montana Western Bulldogs won the programs first national title with a 75-59 victory over Oklahoma City at Metra Park in Billings, Mont. Tuesday night.

After trading buckets early in the first quarter. Bri King and Tori Anderson led the bulldogs to and eight-point lead.

King scored 19 points in the first half to lead UMW to an 18-point halftime lead and totaled 37 at the end of regulation.

The Bulldogs shot over 50 percent from the floor.

Montana Western won the battle of the glass, out rebounding the Stars 35-27, while dishing out 14 assists.

The Saints had four players score in double-figures led by Destinee King’s 18 point 12 rebound double-double.

The Stars were led by Mallory Lockhart’s 11 points.
