Memories by Trang pham

Artist statement

Memories are the best thing human could have, some are good some are bad but it always have a meaning in each. Especially memories with your family it always the most meaningful and unique.

This week I went to visit my family from my mom’s side in California, with my parents for Lunar New Year. I lived there for 2 years. I really like the state. One reason is my grandparents are there. Second reason is i just love how the state is very hustle and bustle, it always seems really busy. For me it's just like a state of noises. In there, they always make a big celebration for Lunar New Year, especially China’s town and Vietnam’s town. So i think it would be a good idea to share with everyone how beautiful California is. It's a special time for me to hold those memories for the rest of my life.

Autobiography

My name is Trang Pham, I was born on June 9, 2002 in Vietnam. I live in Washington with my parents and my brother. Currently I am a freshman in Henrietta Lacks Health and Bioscience High School.

Before attending photography class I didn’t care about taking pictures. But now I realized I really like to take picture of everything, I think it’s a best way to hold the memories for the rest of my life. I think it was the influence of my father, who was a photographer. Beside taking picture, I also like swimming, dancing. I was a gymnast in Mountain view team. My dream career is to be a nurse midwife or just a job in medical field. After i completed schooling i want to take a gap year for traveling and volunteering around the world.
