Professionalism A Must for Teachers

Professionalism is having skills, good judgement, polite behavior, honesty, and responsibility.

I will maintain a strong voice, exude quiet power, and keep my word.

My age and experiences will help set me apart. I will also not engage in conversation as a student but as an educator with knowledge and patience to offer guidance.

My professional values are: appearance, consistency, punctuality, staying current, and maintaining responsibility for my actions.

I will maintain balance by managing my digital image as I would in public, and constantly remind myself that I am held to a higher standard (whether fair or not) as a teacher.
