The ECNL: Raising the Game.
FC DELCO plays in the Northeast Conference of the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL). The ECNL’s mission is to enhance the developmental experience for female youth soccer players in the U.S. by:
Raising the competitive environment. The Northeast Conference in which our club competes is among the most competitive within the ECNL.
Improving the ID process for players that can compete on US Soccer’s Youth National Teams. Between 2018 and 2020, FC DELCO had 13 ENCL players, ages U14 - U17 attend US Youth National Team Training and ECNL Conference Selection Programs and Player Development Programs.
Nurturing well-rounded athletes. ECNL players have the opportunity to balance playing club soccer with FC DELCO with playing soccer for their middle school and high school teams.
Ensuring players can gain maximum exposure to pave their pathway to college. College placement is a priority, and that’s why FC DELCO has chosen The ECNL platform for our elite players. In fact, our class of 2021 already has 31 female athletes committed to play at top NCAA programs around the country.
