This year has been a blast as the Institute celebrated its one hundred years of honor and excellence in the fields of electrical and electronics engineering. Before we start 2017, here are some of the highlights of 2016.

5th UPEEEAAI Golf Classic

Happy new year EEE golfers!

The University of the Philippines Electrical & Electronics Engineering Alumni Association, Inc. (UPEEEAAI) would like to invite you to join the 5th edition of the UPEEEAAI Golf Classic, the culminating activity of the UPEEE Institute centennial celebration and a fund raiser to help support the continuing scholarship and research programs of the UPEEEAAI. The event will be on 10 February 2017 (Friday), 8am at the Ayala Greenfield Golf & Leisure Club in Calamba Laguna.

The tournament FORMAT will be Systems 36, with the field being divided into Class A, Class B & Class C for competition. Trophies and gift certificates shall be available for Champions and Runner Ups of each Class and the usual Lowest Net & Lowest Gross Champions. The tournament fee shall be PHP3,300, which is discountable to PHP2,800 if player registers and pays on or before 16 January 2017 (Monday), that includes the green fee, tournament giveaways, a sumptuous lunch and participation in the raffle for nice prizes.

Players can register early by depositing their tournament fees in UPEEEAI’s bank account number 39-336-300005-9 at the Philippine National Bank and sending copy of deposit slip by fax to 925-2957 (Attention: Ms. Kristine Cruz) or by e-mail at centennial@eee.upd.edu.ph/ upeee.centennial@gmail.com. One can also register on the day of the event itself at the Club, though the fee will be at the higher amount mentioned above.

Please mark the date in your calendars and do invite all your other fellow golfers, UP alumuni or otherwise, since the tournament is open to all golf enthusiasts, to join the fun. Your involvement will help make this event be another successful edition of the UPEEEAAI Golf Classic.
