The Coker University women's soccer team will travel to Hickory, North Carolina to take on Lenoir-Rhyne in a South Atlantic Conference matchup on Wednesday (Nov. 6) at 5:00 p.m. This will be the Cobras' regular season finale  Live stats and video will be available at www.cokercobras.com.

Last Time Out

The Navy and Gold head into Wednesday's matchup after falling short to Lincoln Memorial on Saturday (Nov. 2) in South Atlantic Conference action. The matchup was the last one on the Coker Athletic field for the nine seniors who were honored prior to the start of the game. Senior Farah Brown recorded one shot on goal for the Cobras, while Sarah Swaim had 10 saves between the pipes.

Makayla Barr is a senior forward out of Lake City, South Carolina. Barr has played for the Cobras all four years of her career. The Lake City native has played a bigger role in her final season for the Cobras by averaging more minutes. Her speed has created more attacks for the team, and applied more pressure on the opposing teams defense. Sarah Swaim is another player to watch this week for the Cobras as she is currently leading the South Atlantic Conference in total saves with 121.

Scouting the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears

The Lenoir-Rhyne Bears will head into Wednesday's matchup with a 13-2 overall record and a 7-2 record in South Atlantic Conference play. The Bears came in at No. 2 in last week's NCAA Southeast Regional Rankings, and are ranked 10th in the NCAA National United Soccer Coaches Poll. This season the Bears have defeated Lees-Mcrae (6-1), USC Aiken (8-0), Limestone (3-0), UNC Pembroke (2-1), Mars Hill (1-0), Tusculum (4-0), North Georgia (2-0), Queens (4-1), Newberry (5-0), Wingate (3-1), Anderson (1-0), and North Greenville (3-0).

Last Time Out

The Bears faced off against North Greenville for a non-conference matchup in their last time out. Lenior-Rhyne head North Greenville scoreless in their 3-0 victory.

Player To Watch

Hannah Van Eerden is a senior forward from Stokesdale, N.C. She is currently tied for first on the team in goals this season with then and has recorded four assists. Van Eerden has earned the SAC Astroturf Offensive Player of the Week award once this season. She is currently tied for third in goals in the conference with 10.
