new to calvary?

Sign Up for Discovery!

If you are new to Calvary Restoration being a part of a Discovery Group is the best way to move toward the mainstream of our church community and ministry. Discovery is an 8 week Life Group that focuses on the mission and core values of the church and developing relationships with other folks who are new to the church.

In Discovery we will eat together, learn about the church, share spiritual journey stories and pray for one another.

If you can do Discovery please contact Brian Bailey at brian@thecalvary.org.

Simeon at the Temple

Luke 2:21-35

“Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth”” (John 4:21-24). Praise God that the coming of Jesus means we worship a God who is near, a God who pursues us.
