Ordinarily this course focuses heavily on developing skill using clay and ceramic tools. With the modification for online learning, "Design in Clay" adapted to a broader 3-D/sculpture-based focus. Students used 3-D and found materials to create sculptural objects in order to solve a variety of design problems. Students explored a variety of past and contemporary artworks to inspire their works.
