who is William Nero?
William grew up in a modest home near LeClaire Courts, one of Chicago's crime-ridden south-side neighborhoods. William put all of his experiences and obstacles he overcame in a book titled, “The Choice to Pull the Trigger (Available via digital platforms; iBooks, Amazon, & B&N) ©2011.” William has volunteered countless hours of community relations & service via the Chicago Bulls organization, beginning as a prequel to his philanthropic efforts. Thanks to being able to read, write & speak the Spanish language fluently, William has helped cultivate relationships with different media outlets and has traveled the globe writing independent projects and covering events.
After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Finance & Spanish Literature from Roosevelt University, William moved to New York City, where he worked for Great Performances, one of New York’s biggest event production companies. While simultaneously working in Finance with Carat, an international media firm, William’s financial skill-set was honed, piquing his interest in becoming a serious business owner. In 2013, after gaining invaluable experience, William knew it was time to form his own, D’Nero Group. William's events have included the names of some of the biggest actors, R&B singers and reality television stars spanning nationwide.
The past few years Mr. Nero has Executive Produced Chicago’s Black Gay Pride’s 4 to 5 event lineup, sponsored by D’Nero Group, and 501c3 organizations South Side Help Center & Aids Healthcare Foundation.
