Matt's Goals English 1-2 p1

Semester Goal

In this semester, I will get at least a 70% on all of my geometry test and at least an 80% on my quizzes and homework assignments.

How will I achieve this Goal?

Step 1: I will study 2 days before a test and ask questions on what I don't understand.

Step 2: I will do my homework every night on my own and ask the teacher about anything I didn't quite understand or was confused on.

Step 3: If I get an answer wrong, I will ask the teacher or a friend how they got that correct answer.

English Goal

In English class, I will get at least a 90% on all of my tests, quizzes, and homework assignments. I will finish this class with an A.

How will i achieve this goal?

Step 1: In class, I will focus and pay good attention when the teacher is doing a lesson.

Step 2: I will finish all of my class work on time and when there is homework I will finish it at home and turn it in on time.

Step 3: When there is a test or quiz, I will study at home for at least an hour and ask the teacher questions about anything I didn't understand.

High School Goal

By the end of my high school career, I will finish with extra college credits and with at least a 3.8 GPA. I will have a part time job, have at least a few letters from big colleges, and will win State at least one time in football and wrestling.

How will i achieve this goal?

Step 1: I will study for tests or quizzes for at least an hour and finish my classwork and homework assignments on time.

Step 2: As soon as I am old enough, I will do community hours, set up my resume, and go out and look for a part-time job.

Step 3: I will join a lifting program and get a personal trainer during the summer to get myself as strong and as fast as I can be, so I can perform better in my athletics.

Step 4: I will work hard in wrestling and football. For wrestling, I will be practicing with the school then with the club. For football, I will lift every other day, make varsity my sophomore year, and work with my other coach to get better.

After High School Goal

After high school, I will finish college with at least a 3.6 GPA, I will know what college I attending, make the football team, and make the varsity wrestling team.

How will I achieve this goal?

Step 1: I will study for tests and quizzes. I will finish my classwork and homework assignments on time. I will get at least a 70% on my tests and quizzes, and at least a 90% on my classwork and homework assignments.

Step 2: I will read any letters I received from the colleges, talk all of them out with my parents, and we will choose one as a family.

Step 3: I will push my self in my athletics, keep my self healthy, and get good grades to make the football and varsity wrestling team.

Personal Growth Goal

I plan to get straight A's for the rest of high school. I will get myself fully healthy again and get stronger.

I will achieve this goal by:

Step 1: I will work my hardest in and out of the classroom to maintain my grades and get straight A's.

Step 2: I will do physical therapy for my shoulder, eat healthy, and lift and condition to get myself fully healthy again and to get stronger.
