The Sixth Tuesday: We Talk About Emotions Mitch Albom

Mitch and Morrie talk about detaching their emotions. They feel all of their emotions and detach one by one. Its important for everyone who is either dying, or unemotional to detach from their emotions. You have to feel them completely all the way through or else you can't detach. You can't detach from all of your emotions at once, you have to feel all of them one at a time, and then let them go one by one.
The author writes, "'I know think this is just about dying,' he said, 'but it's like I keep telling you. When you learn how to die, you learn how to live.'" (Albom 104)
Experience all of your emotions completely and fully, then let go.
Tears because Morrie cries a lot.
