The Lady Reds returned to the double-digit victory plateau for the first time since 2013, when they registered a 13-5-1, 5-2-0 CCIW record. Carthage's four-win improvement in 2016 was among the many strides taken. The Lady Reds made vast improvements on the defensive end in 2016 as they allowed 20 goals, 53 points, 199 shots, 93 shots on goal and seven game-winning-goals. All of which are significant improvements from 2015.
