Places of Tejano By Charlie mahay

Tejano music is very popular in Mexico and the USA. In the USA it is specifically popular in Texas due to the high population of Mexican immigrants.

The musical traditions of the Tejanos of South Texas and NorteƱos of Northern Mexico have been influenced not only by Mexico, but also by their Anglo-American, African-American and immigrant neighbors like the Czechs, Bohemians, and Moravians as well as the Germans and Italians.

Its initial set included waltzes, polkas, mazurkas, and rancheros. This original form is most like mariachi music.
