Bill welcomes us to his home and introduces our very special guest Councilman Robert Treviño who stopped by on route to another engagement in Austin

Mr. Treviño speaks about his understanding of the arts in San Antonio

Our second very special guest Ruben Linder President of Asociación de Empresarios Mexicanos speaks about his impressions on San Antonio and later during the Open Mic told a story about his grandfather's friendship with Diego Rivera

Marisela Barrera kicked off our Open Mic Night with a reading from her play Ruby Reds, Big Bird & Burras

The evening was dedicated to the exhibition at the Centro de Artes titled, A Women's Place is... curated by Kathy Vargas featuring 15 cross generational Latinas from San Antonio including NALAC alumni and or grantees Catherine Cisneros, Sarah Castillo, Jenelle Esparza and Mari Hernandez.

Special thanks to Bill and Ann FitzGibbons for inviting us to there home for a wonderful evening designed to have the San Antonio NALAC Alumni Network of artists and arts professionals come together to to Gather, Renew, Reflect and Share.
