Susan met Brenda Star, CEO of StarGroup International, during a presentation at the Kravis Center Writer’s Academy. Susan loved the marketing message and PR tips that Star shared with the group.
“No one throws a book away,” says Brenda Star. “A brochure or a business card may be misplaced but a book will live on a shelf or on a coffee table. A book positions you as an expert, enhances your credibility and definitely gains media attention. It’s the perfect way to make a lasting impression,” affirms Brenda.
Since then, Goldfein hired StarGroup International to brand her newly discovered self and promote her book to the public. StarGroup was excited to launch the “Cosmo Star” with a spinning beam of energy.

Deciding that the world needed another Erma Bombeck and\or Nora Ephron, with a bit of Andy Rooney thrown in for good measure, Susan created her blog in 2012, now called Susan’s Unfiltered Wit, where she entertains her generation of pre-baby boomers and beyond. Currently, Susan is working on her second book while StarGroup is busy revamping her website and blog, rebranding her image and stirring up the media with speaking engagements, book signings and readings.
