Creativity, Passion and Inspiration Adobe x affectors

Background: Adobe produces software that empowers artists in all creative mediums to express themselves. Whilst the Adobe brand symbolises creativity in the market not all the internal members of the organisation saw themselves or their role as creative.
Opportunity: Include Adobe in the creative process so that all members feel a part of a community connected by the values of creativity, passion and inspiration.

In 2014 Adobe and affectors commenced a program of talks, workshops, live interactive events and online video content for the purpose of connecting the members of Adobe and the public with values of creativity, passion and inspiration

Creativity was first endorsed from the top down

Matt Jackson from affectors spoke side by side with Adobe's Paul Robson, (President Asia Pacific) and Chris Skelton, (MD A/NZ) at an all staff meeting about how the creative cloud was driving a New Creative Renaissance.

A host of New Creatives working in all media inspired audiences in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland demonstrating how the Adobe software and the Creative Cloud allowed them to collaborate and create in new ways to wider audiences. These live performances were spread wide through online video content posted to Adobe's creative online community.

Events were held around Sydney to connect the public, Adobe team members and New Creatives to each other through the values of creativity, passion and inspiration.

Adobe evangelists stood side by side on stage with the affectors to introduce audiences to Adobe's Creative Cloud strategy, purpose and values. This was done through a mix of inspirational work from passionate New Creatives as well as practical ways audience members could start using the Adobe products more creatively that same day.

In 2015 members of the affectors continue to enjoy working with Adobe to connect more people both inside and outside the organisation to the values of creativity, passion and inspiration.

At VIVID festival 2015 Adobe and affectors ran a panel about trusting creativity in the workplace to champion the importance of creativity, passion and inspiration outside of the creative industries.

"The partnership we have established with the affectors over the last two years has been very unique. Our key goals were to drive creativity, passion and inspiration internally throughout the organisation and to reconnect with the local creative community by showcasing some of the amazing local talent that exists. The partnership has allowed us to do this on many different levels. I have no doubt we will continue to work with Matt and the team as we evolve our strategy",

Clare Cahill, Creative Cloud Marketing Manager, Adobe
