Grading/Transcripts

Students receive a progress every six-weeks and the cumulative grade will be reflected at the end of each semester. The grading periods are listed below:

First Semester: 1st 6-weeks (Aug 25 - Oct 8); 2nd 6-weeks (Oct 9 - Nov 19); and 3rd 6-weeks (Nov 20 - Jan 15).

Second Semester: 1st 6-weeks (Jan 19 - March 2); 2nd 6-weeks (March 3 - April 16); and 3rd 6-weeks (April 19 - May 27).

Grades from First Semester (January) and Second Semester (May) will be reported on the official high school transcript.

Your official transcript reflects the following: list of classes taken; credits earned (semester grades); grade point average (GPA - Unweighted & Weighted); and level of courses.

Tips: Students will see their current grade in the Student Portal under Grade Period 3. You should stay on top of your grades; get help if you see that your grades are falling; turn your assignments in on time; and check your student portal grades regularly.

Mental Health Tips

From Ms. Elise Christensen, duPont Manual's Mental Health Practitioner

Mental Health Tips: Self-Soothe with a calming box

Tip: Having tangible items to self-soothe and distract you from your stress and anxiety can be comforting

Tools: Use a box and assemble a toolkit of items to help calm you in times of stress. Could include Sudoku, crossword puzzles, pictures, notecards with affirmations, fidgets or a stress ball to squeeze, coloring supplies, etc.
