FRIENDS THE GALLERY

FRIENDS was a one night photography exhibition by Cyrus Tetteh and Dante Rionda, hosted at Norwest Gallery of Art. The 24 piece exhibit included portraits aimed to celebrate the artists' close friends. Cyrus and Dante spent two months photographing their various friends to capture them at their best.

Dante and Cyrus ultimately framed 12 portraits each for the exhibit. The subjects ranged from chefs and social media influencers, to parents spending time with their children. Photography was done inside and outside of the studio; in Detroit and New York.

With 200+ people floating in and out all night, FRIENDS was a success. The artists' friends were happy to see themselves framed and celebrated. There was a lot of social media engagement. Even Social Media influencer Demetrius Harmon was apart of the gallery. (1 Million+ followers on Twitter/Instagram) #FriendstheGallery
