All newborn, baby, and family sessions are scheduled on a day that works with your schedule & receive priority booking. Custom sessions provide ample time to create the best images & form a connection with your family. They typically last up to 3 hours for newborns, if needed, and up to 60-90 minutes for baby and family sessions to ensure your beautiful family remains in full focus and never rushed.
the studio
Laurie's commercial studio space is located near Chicago in Homer Glen, Illinois. The studio is used for most of her sessions including maternity and boudoir, newborn, baby milestones, and family photography. Her studio is relaxed and inviting which is a perfect environment for her to focus on your session. Sunlight fills the room with glowing light and the white walls and flooring reflects her minimalistic approach to photography. She offers a baby wardrobe for babies 0-18 months old and all of the blankets and wraps necessary for newborn sessions.

Laurie's work is known to be authentic, honest, and raw and she seeks to capture images that allow you to relive that moment over and over again. She strives to capture the true essence of your baby and family by keeping her studio minimalistic in design and by using neutral tones and organic textures.
outdoor
Laurie offers outdoor sessions at a nearby field located minutes away from her studio space. The warm glow of the sunset, the long grasses, and the organic backdrop sets the scene for a perfect outdoor session. Seasonally she travels to nearby beaches to capture baby, family and maternity sessions. Using the neutral palette of the sea and the calmness of the water she is able to capture artful and emotive images.

I am an artist, a photographer, and most importantly a mother. These three things truly describe who I am, and what I am passionate about. Beginning this photography journey 8 years ago, I fell in love with documenting my babies and all of their special details that make them so incredible. There is nothing more irreplaceable than having those memories that you cherish documented. I am thankful I picked up my camera years ago and I appreciate every step of this journey.
