Lets Move! Initiative
While in the White House, Michelle created Lets Move! Initiative. This is a program for schools to improve nutrition and hunger safety for children. Because of this program, President Obama signed the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act in December 2010.

Accomplishments

Michelle Obama Obamas first goal was to stop childhood obesity by starting the lets move program.her goal is to decrease childhood obesity by 5% by 2030.

What impact did she have?

Michelle Obama supported two main causes: one was military families and young woman having certain freedoms. A huge accomplishment she made was her Let's Move campaign. Let's Move is trying to decrease childhood obesity by five percent by the year 2030.

Michelle Obama may not have a day to celebrate her, but there have been many books written about her. She is also celebrated by her large fan base who celebrate her every day.
