ESS Friendship Festival Students from six PUSD schools gathered for a day of fun & friends

The Extended Student Services (ESS) department in the Poway Unified School District doesn't get much of a break over the summer. About 2,500 students across the District are enrolled for summer sessions. On Wednesday, July 19, 2017, the Deer Canyon campus hosted a "Friendship Festival," for students from the Ranchos Peñasquitos area: Adobe Bluffs, Canyon View, Deer Canyon, Park Village, Sundance, and Sunset Hills Elementary Schools. The students ate, played, and did crafts together for a rare chance to meet and mingle with kids from so many different schools. Keep scrolling down for more pictures!
