International Images Film Festival for Women 2017 FOR the first time IIFF was held as a Joint Film Festival with zifft in Harare

Younger audiences at IIFF 2017 were thrilled by the Reel Kidz Fiesta on the final day of the 2017 joint festival. The programme of events included screenings of child-friendly films, workshops, games and a whole lot of fun!

The Women Entrepreneurs Publicity Hub (WEPH) gave emerging women-run enterprises a platform to showcase and market their products and services. IIFF aims to continue supporting women in business through the WEPH.

Film lovers from all walks of life enjoyed a great selection of films during the festival. Discussions after the screenings allowed audiences to openly express their own views and opinions on the various themes portrayed in the films and so participate in democratic dialogue.

The Mufakose outreach venue drew large audiences from the surrounding community, becoming one of the busiest and liveliest screening venues of the festival.

Our Twitter page experienced a much-appreciated growth in its following and reach. Thanks to all those who engaged with @wfozicapa!!
