RUBY TUESDAY FACES SUIT FOR MINIMUM WAGE VIOLATIONS The Hayber Law Firm of Hartford Connecticut recently brought a lawsuit against Ruby Tuesday, Inc claiming that Ruby Tuesdays violated Connecticut minimum wage laws

The case claim alleges that servers, waiters and waitresses are routinely assigned by Defendant to perform, and do in fact perform, "non-service" duties. These duties included working setting up before the restaurant is opened to the public and nonservice work or "side work" after they are cut from shifts. Under Connecticut Law this entitles employees to the full minimum wage. For more information click here
