This weekend's virtual tours are in partnership with the #GreatGetTogether campaign inspired by Jo Cox, also taking place this weekend 19-21 June, celebrating that we all have #MoreInCommon through a range of music, arts and cultural events. Discover more at www.greatgettogether.org

Mrs Marshall wanted to share this with the children

Miss Cooke - We are looking at information texts and they have created their own bird from natural materials ready to write their own text this week

Miss Jarvis - They were supposed to be simple pots, but my class showed their creative flair and the result were these fabulous creations! Very proud.

Year 3 and 4 Road Safety Learning:

We have been extremely pleased with the PSHE learning received in Year 3 and 4 this week about how to keep safe near the road.

The children shared learning with us which were creative and fun - this included: posters, video sketches and the use of toys to model scenarios.

Here are a few pieces of the learning we received - the main message from the children: STOP, LOOK and LISTEN before you cross.

Well done children, keep up the good work - we are very proud of you!

Stay safe everyone!

Miss McDonald and Mrs Marshall - This week in Year 1 the children have been innovating ‘The Giant’s Castle’ text map. The ideas that have been shared have all been fantastic with some children even choosing to write their own stories. (Two included a cheeky dog called ‘Shelby’).

What has really stood out for Miss McDonald and Mrs Marshall this week though is the children’s Maths learning which has been all about money. They have all shone at this even when the amounts of money were getting quite tricky!

We would like to give a special shout out to Michaela in Squirrels, who shared some lovely videos of herself practicing making different amounts of money and in doing so showed great perseverance with her learning! Well Done!
