Step 1- Design Outline/ Barrel Support
Design objective : Build a cannon to be used in a live battleship game
Challenge: Design a base for the cannon that would compensate for rotation and elevation of the cannon
Before the designing of the base , we had to create a box barrel support for the cannon. The cannon design was the same among all teams. We used calipers to get the dimensions of the holes of the cannon. We then made an Onshape document that included holes with different dimensions close to the one one we measured in order to size them for the box support.
Step 2 : Arduino
This diagram was to be followed to take care of the firing and relay . Firing requirements include : Sprinkler valve open/close , Status light , LED countdown , Warning sound , and Serial monitor
