ENERGY FLOW YOGA At St. George's by the RIver

Beginning April 22, 2017

Classes will be on Saturdays fromĀ 9:30-10:30 AM at St. George's by the River in Rumson, NJ

The class is based on a unique, and relatively new, yoga discipline called Energy Medicine Yoga. This approach enables you to practice yoga more effectively by intentionally facilitating the flow of subtle energy in and around the body while engaging in traditional yoga postures and breathing. We move slowly and mindfully, gradually introducing simple exercises in moving energy as we practice gentle/moderate level poses.

You can benefit regardless of your level of yoga practice; some experience with yoga is desirable but not necessary. If you are looking for "power yoga", it's not for you. If you'd like a moderate, accepting approach with the intention of enhancing physical and emotional well-being, regardless of your age or fitness level, then the class would be very suitable. As EM Yoga founder, Lauren Walker, has said: "Practice smarter, not longer". You will learn practices that can be implemented in your everyday life.

The instructor: Elizabeth Bond has been teaching yoga for 11 years, is certified to teach Prana Yoga and Life Force Yoga, and has recently completed teacher training in Energy Medicine Yoga. Having retired from her practice as a Clinical Psychologist in December, 2016, her focus now is on facilitating well-being through yoga.

"I decided to study EM Yoga because I found it the most interesting new development in the fields of yoga and healing that I had come across in years" - Elizabeth Bond

$15 per class; 5 classes for $60. Please Bring Yoga Mat.
