Birth of the Internet
In 1969, ARPAnet delivered its first message: a “node-to-node” communication from one computer to another. The message was one simple word, "LOGIN" but it crashed the fledgling ARPA network.
During ththe 1970s, the network grew steadily. As packet-switched computer networks multiplied, it became more difficult for them to combine into a single worldwide “Internet.”
The 1st Monile Phone
Martin Cooper of Motorola made the first handheld mobile phone on a prototype DynaTAC model on April 3, 1973. A full charge took roughly 10 hours, and it offered 30 minutes of talk time. It was priced at $3,995 in 1984,

In June 2010, Apple released the iPhone 4, which introduced video calling, multitasking, and a new uninsulated stainless steel design that acted as the phone's antenna. Now today's new iPhone includes a dual-camera, water resistance feature and with a bigger storage option. The iPhone allows user for easy access to the internet, social media and communication.
Nintendo is known to be one of the world's largest video game companies. In 1979, Gunpei Yokoi conceived the idea of a handheld video game. The Game Boy was first released in Japan on 21 April 1989, and in North America on 31 July 1989. They have also created the Wii, DS, and 3DS. This has impacted our society by a form of entertainment and an increase on creativity.
Samsung was founded by Lee Byung-chul in 1938 as a trading company. Over the next three decades, the group went into areas including food processing, textiles, insurance, securities, retail, including the Samsung electronics. Samsung entered the electronics industry in the late 1960s and the construction and shipbuilding industries in the mid-1970s.

Social media has been grasping our attention, keeping us entertainment and even jobs
Although social media is a great use of entertainment it also has some drawbacks. The internet is a device that lets you comment anything you like anonymously. Which can lead to cyber bullying
Going off from social media, it can also lead to a decrease into privacy. Anyone with special tools and methods can figure out where you live, what you look like, etc. Hacking has become a great issue in our present day life.
Another issue is becoming lazier. The internet has become a great substitute for face-face communication and you can easily look the answer for a math problem.
