  • Arrival: A friendly reminder that the tardy bells rings at 7:40 AM. 7:40 is the time students are expected to be inside their classroom ready to learn for the day. Students arriving after 7:40 will need to come in through the front office for a tardy pass.
  • Mum Pick-up is this Saturday from Noon-2:00. Please see the flyer located in the PTO section of this newsletter. If you are unable to pick-up your order, if possible, please send another individual.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Thursday, October 29 and Wednesday, November 4 ~ Please look for information from your classroom teacher in the near future. Families will have the option of meeting virtually or on-sight. Should you wish to come to Weston for your conference, please see the following guidelines:

  • Enter at Door 1Enter at Door 1
  • Use hand sanitizer upon entering
  • Must have and wear a mask
  • Only two adults present; no siblings
  • Sit 6 feet apart
  • Appt. will last no longer than 15 minutes.
  • Table and chairs will be sanitized between conferences

Next PTO Meeting is November 11, 2020 ~ A Google Meet code will be shared closer to time to attend virtually.

Hancock County Promise

Dear parents of 2033 Graduates,

Today, should have been your child’s field trip to IUPUI as part of the Hancock County Promise. We are so sorry we had to cancel this year’s field trip. News From The Clinic

Disposable Water bottle donations ~ The clinic would appreciate water bottle donations. These are used for students that do not have a reusable bottle during the day. Water fountains remained closed due to COVID guidelines.

Vaccination Clinic ~ Below you will find the flyer for an upcoming vaccination clinic. All students must be up to date on their vaccines by October 1, 2020.

Social Work Corner ~ Mrs. Miller

Second Step lessons will begin in all classrooms next week. This is a year long program in which students will learn important skills related to being a successful student, caring about others, emotion management, and problem solving. Homelinks will be sent home following some of the lessons as an opportunity for parents and children to work together on the skills being taught. Second Step is made possible via a grant awarded by the Greenfield-Central School Foundation.

The Greenfield community is very generous in providing resources for families in need. If you find yourself in need of clothing, shoes, community assistance, counseling resources, food support, or other, please contact me. Bentley's Buddies ~ We are having a Read Thru Drive Thru Event on October 17th from 10-2 at Park Chapel Church in Greenfield. The kiddos will drive up to a reading buddy and read to them from their vehicle!!
