Human Rights

Do these stories have good or bad examples of human rights?

Is having 8 different castes a good or bad example of human rights? Do we have different "castes"?

Is having kings and queens good or bad examples of human rights?

Is the death punishment a good or bad example of human rights? Canada does not execute people.

Esther didn't tell anyone she was a Jew, even after she became Queen. Why was that?

Mordecai refused to bow to Haman. Haman was superior, or wasn't he? The law said everyone must bow to Haman. Should Mordecai have bowed?

Haman wanted to kill all Jews because one Jew did not bow to him. Where does human rights come in there?

"We have been sold, my people and I, to be destroyed, to be killed, and to be annihilated." (Esther 7:4) Is this a human right?

Jews were allowed to be killed on one certain day. Esther and Mordecai made it legal for Jews to kill whoever attempted to kill them on that day. Is that a human right?
