| EXCLUSIVELY INCLUSIVE |
Formed in 2012, this band's mix of sass and brass is guaranteed to make you sweat just as much as it makes you think. Continuing in the tradition of badass Bay Area family bands, Midtown Social picks up the beat from Sly & the Family Stone and takes off from where Jefferson Airplane landed.
The Midtown Family is a diverse community of writers, musicians, and dreamers. We are black and white, queer and straight, married and single.
We represent the face of young America.
And we are the new California Soul.
Exuberant spirit shines through the music we create and the message we share. With Midtown, authenticity is the trend. We invite our fans to dance like no one's watching, sing to the rafters and live their true selves.
What's up next for Midtown?
2019 is Midtown’s year. Poised to release their next full length album with a series of single releases leading up to the album drop. Each track will be accompanied by a music video and photo album to compliment the aesthetic variations of the tracks.
Candlelit will light up the release series with a message of hope and unity in the dark-cold days of winter.
Savoir Faire is planned for release in the spring of 2019 and is sure to get that summer dance party poppin'!
Fantastic Colors will ease us into the fall and close out the release series as the leaves begin to change. A love song about friendship, this piece asks us to leave behind the chatter of life, to be in the moment, and to sail away with the ones we love.

We have a story to tell. We sing of tribulation and triumph, and what is means to be an artist in america today. With every groove and back beat, we prove to ourselves, to our Socialites, to the world... that you can't stop the music.
