Soccer Star Lionel Messi book review by Joel, Mms

Super Star Messi

The fans screamed as Messi was dribbling closer and closer to the goalkeeper GOAL!! Learn how the best player in the world earned his title. The book Soccer Star Lionel Messi by John Albert Torres is a very great book. This book is about a boy named Lionel Messi. He played soccer and was very good. Messi was offered to play for a club called FC Barcelona, but he had this medical condition that didn’t let him grow and was too small to play. So FC Barcelona payed for the treatment and then Messi got to play. There he became the best player in the world.

My favorite part of the book is when they talk about Messi’s goals and how many he’s scored. I really like this part because it amazes me. This moment mattered because this is a huge part of his career. The life lesson I learned from this book is never judge a person by their size or looks. It taught me this because it showed me that even though Messi had a medical condition that still didn’t stop him from pursuing his dream.

The greatest value in the book are the facts. I just love learning about other people’s lives. I really liked how the author explained everything. It made me feel like I was meeting Messi himself and giving him an interview. This book will make you fall in love with Lionel Messi. Nonfiction lovers and soccer fans will enjoy all the facts.
