Nice to meet you
Hi there, I'm Kath. I love weddings, my 2 girls, my hubby, coffee, chocolate and holidays (the order of these things changes on a daily basis!) When I'm not behind a camera I can be found at the gym, decorating our beautiful Victorian home, at the school gates or planning the next sunny getaway.
I've been taking photos for nearly 10 years now, initially following in the footsteps of my Dad who also loves photography. I started my Wedding Photography Business after regularly 2nd shooting at weddings for my best friend and quickly falling in love with the art of wedding photography. She continues to be an inspiration to me and actually now 2nd shoots at many of my weddings. I feel so lucky to call this my "job" now, as it doesn't feel like work at all doing something I love!
Before Photography took over my life, I worked in Retail Buying and Marketing for 15 years mainly in Beauty and Fashion. My experience working in these areas has definitely contributed to my love of all things beautiful, and my creative eye.
My Style
My style is a blend of documentary and fine art photography with an artistic edge producing beautiful and natural images. My aim is to provide you with a timeless set of images, telling the unique story of your wedding and helping you to re-live your amazing day again and again.
I prefer a natural style of photography, and try and minimise the number of overly posed shots. Of course I'll allow time for a number of group shots, but I prefer to spend more time capturing the images you are going to love! Some of my favourite things to shoot are those gorgeous little moments that make your wedding day so unique. I'll blend into the background to capture the guest who's in fits of giggles, the Father of the Bride looking so proud during the ceremony, secret smiles between the bride and groom, the Best Man shaking his stuff on the dance floor, and those details you've worked so hard on to make your wedding day so special. You won't need to worry, I'll ensure you don't miss a minute of your amazing day.
I will also make sure we spend time capturing some beautiful and intimate couple shots. I'll aim to take you aside twice during the day - once just before the wedding breakfast, for a quiet moment for you both to relax, and also during "golden hour" - that stunning time just before the sun goes down, where light is at it's most beautiful and flattering.

2nd Shooter - £250
Often, couples ask what the benefits are for having a 2nd Shooter at their wedding. To me, the main benefit, is that a 2nd Shooter will allow for a greater variety of shots to be captured including the Groom’s preparations, more candid guest shots, more of those little details and precious moments, and additional angles at key points of the day (particularly useful during the ceremony and for group shots) I highly recommend opting for a 2nd shooter if you have a large wedding with 80+ guests. The additional investment is money well spent for the variety of shots that you will get. All of the 2nd shooters I work with are close friends of mine and talented professional photographers so you can be assured of a high quality service and a great result.

I LOVE engagement shoots, so with my both of my full day packages, you'll also get a pre-wedding shoot with me. I find they are a great way for you to get comfortable in front of the camera, and for us to get to know each other before the big day, and of course you get a beautiful set of images, capturing this special time in your lives.
