"Travels To My Elephant"
In recent years Elephant Family has supported over 160 field projects in six elephant range states: India, Thailand, Indonesia (Sumatra), Malaysia (Borneo), Myanmar and Cambodia. They deliver effect conservation projects and generate mass support for Asian elephant conservation.
The Elephant family asked us to create a stylised and visually striking Vagaband designed to keep the participants of a charity rickshaw race safe as they traversed India
"Vagaband provided a beautiful and practical design at very short notice, providing much-appreciated peace of mind and reassurance to all our racers. It was wonderful to work with them, and we're looking forward to collaborating with them again in future."
New College of Humanities
Founded by eminent author & philosopher A. C. Grayling, alongside some of the world’s foremost academics, New College of the Humanities (NCH) is an innovative and award-winning university based in the heart of London. We were asked to design a Vagaband that would keep their Freshers safe and confident while they settled into the city.
“Working with Vagaband has been a joy, we have been impressed by their energy, creativity, attention to detail and the quality of the product. Our incoming students were delighted with the bands and were very much looking forward to working with Vagaband again.”
Britannia Student Services
After consulting with Britannia, one of the UK's foremost providers of student accommodation, we created a customised design which reflected the needs of younger students visiting London. We incorporated a range of iconic designs, and included a tube map to help them get their bearings in a new city.
"We absolutely loved the designs that Vagaband came through with: they incorporated our brand tastefully, and kept the bands clear-to-purpose and perfect for our young clients."
St Mungo's, is a charity registered in England to help homeless people. Established in 1969, it is now the largest charity dealing with the homeless in London. In 2010, it provided a bed for over 1500 people each night. In 2011, they had over a hundred sites across southern England providing accommodation or other services to the homeless.
They asked us to create a Vagaband tailored to the unique needs of the rough sleepers of London and beyond; humanising and empowering St Mungo's clients by providing them with a sense of identity.
"An innovative and respectful gift of compassion for a group of people who, all too often, remain anonymous and uncared-for. Simple, considerate and thoroughly researched."
