Huitzilan de Serdán, Puebla, Mexico
Bordered by the states of Veracruz to the north and Oaxaca to the south, the state of Puebla is located in east-central Mexico. It is an industrial center, producing goods such as textiles and pottery, and providing employment in sectors like mining (onyx, gold, and other materials) and construction. The main native languages in this region are Nahuatl and Totonaco. Most coffee is grown on small family farms in Puebla; other prominent crops include corn and sugar cane.
