The Promoter

As an intern for InVogue Records, I helped with promoting new album releases.

Engaging video. Clear Message. Brand awareness.

This promotional video was used as a Facebook commercial to drive sales for the new album. The video was viewed over 20,000 times on the InVogue Records Facebook page. The music video, itself, has over 100,000 views on YouTube.

The Communicator

One thing that is necessary in all organizations is effective communication. At InVogue Records, I develop creative ways to communicate with our fan base as a whole. It's not about telling the fans that we have great music—any record label can say that. Our goal is to really connect with our audience. We want our message to tell a story. But in order to tell a story we first have to get their attention. And from there, we let the music do the storytelling.

Our online sales are also influenced by our customer service, which requires individualized communication for each unique situation. Since beginning at InVogue Records, I have helped increased our Facebook customer service response rate from 14% to 94%.

The Web Designer

As the marketing intern, I'm building website for Westy's Signature Flooring from scratch. As a small business, this will help their online presence. Today people won't even buy a shoelace without taking a look at it online. So for a flooring store, a website allows people to take a look at our work and be confident before ever taking a step into the store.

Being an independent record company, InVogue Records' emails and Facebook messages were flooded with bands and artists wanting to submit their music for consideration. The volume of submissions was too much to filter through using traditional methods. So I created a Demo Submissions page on the InVogue Records website in order to keep our lines of communication clear and organized.

The Writer

As a business development intern for the Hancock County Veterans Service Office, I wrote policies and customer surveys to help improve the overall service given to veterans.

I've also written several press releases for InVogue Records.

Oh, and I'm pretty proud of my short stories and rap song that I wrote for my college English class.

The Student

Above is a picture of me being inducted to the Delta Mu Delta Honor Society, with a 3.9 cumulative GPA and a commitment to service.

The Dana Scholars program has given me the opportunity to network with employers. We visit companies and meet with executives to learn about how they run their businesses

Being named to the Dean's List, semester after semester, is an accomplishment that I'm proud of because it shows my commitment to long term success.

The Graphic Designer

Classrooms and textbooks serve their purpose, but what really makes a difference in a student's education is experiential learning. In 2015, the University of Findlay's Center for Career & Professional Development began a program with the Great Lakes Career Ready Internship Grant. As the Grant Assistant, I'm responsible for a variety of tasks, but to me, the most important responsibility is making connections with employers and students. The marketing materials that I design are aimed at doing exactly that. Our goal is to bridge the gap between employers who are seeking interns, and interns who are seeking employment. I'm happy knowing that my work is helping these students become one step closer to finding their dream job.

The Entrepreneur

A snapshot of my website that I plan to launch in May of 2017.

Resolved Weight Loss is a business that promotes evidence based methods for overall fitness as well as weight loss. Our goal is to give people the knowledge and methods that they need in order to look and feel their best, and the freedom to pursue their goals with confidence.

In 2016 my business idea won the 4th place prize in the University of Findlay's Innovation Competition.

The Runner

The "Run the World 5k" was an event to benefit the study abroad program at the University of Findlay. My friend and I came in 1st and 2nd place overall. We were also on the team that won 1st prize in the team division.

Paying it Forward

I've been blessed with so many great opportunities. My goal is to continue to give back.

I spent my last two spring breaks doing missions trips which included doing food drives for the community food banks, as well tutoring elementary students and hosting an after-school program.

We collected over 600 pounds of food for the community food bank.
