Discover Your Church- A single session course designed to help you understand what ‘engagement’ at Church of the Nazarene looks like, we’ll explore our core beliefs as Nazarenes and how those impact our daily living as a church family. This course is required to become a member. If you are not ready for membership but consider us your church, then we strongly encourage you to attend!

On Wednesday April 21, Hope Distributed is participating in the Great Community Give (GCG). The GCG is an initiative of the Community Foundation of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County and it is a one day, online fundraiser for local nonprofits making a difference in our community.
With the funds generously donated to Hope Distributed, we will be growing our food delivery apparatus, “Hope Delivered.” Funding our back pack programs, which is a program where our partner groups send meals home with elementary school students for their families each week and finally, we are in the preliminary stages of creating a new program for mothers in need of diapers, formula, powders etc … (basic baby needs).
In 2020, Hope Distributed gave out 1.3 million pounds of food, 30,000 articles of clothing and furnished over 40 homes; all to people in our community in need and despite of a global pandemic. We are thankful for our awesome volunteers as well as the support from our friends! We are looking to expand in the future and make a lasting impact on the lives of everyone needing some hope.
If you can give at anytime during this day, we would be forever grateful, however, making your charitable donation between 12pm–1pm on Wednesday April 21, could help us even more. This time had been designated as our “Power Hour” meaning Hope Distributed could receive a cash prize for all donations and funds raised during this time. We chose this time slot because we feel it is important to take a few minutes out of our lunch time, to ensure that those in need, in our community, can have food for their lunch too. That is what everyone’s gift will help provide.
