Alina Sakko is a Finnish dance artist. After working professionally in various ballet companies, she went on to continue studying at London Contemporary Dance School, where she graduated with a 1st class BA (Hons) in contemporary dance during summer 2021. Alongside her studies Sakko worked professionally with artists such as Mimosa Lindahl in Pori Dance Company, Vilma Tihilä and Ghost & John, and taught dance in various places such as the CAT-programme at The Place. In her personal practice Sakko explores presence, especially as a choreographic and performance tool. She is currently looking into ways to share her practice in a workshop setting also with people who don't have former experience in dance. Sakko is a member of MOŸ MOŸ collective, an international dance collective formed in London, and part of an improvisation group I ; N collective.
