Challenge

Kevin Durant is a NBA superstar. He played for the Oklahoma City Thunder until recently joining the Golden State Warriors. The off-season is a pain staking time for free agents. Everyone was certain that he was going to re-sign with the Thunder going into the 2016- 2017 season. After signing with the Warriors he received hatred all over social media and sports center. By doing this his fans were devastated and they disliked him a lot. He didn't know what to do. He knew that all of his fans saw him as a bandwagon and a traitor. Even Russell Westbrook lost his respect for Durant.

Courageous Act

Kevin was motivated to leave Oklahoma because he started to realize that his team wasn't winning he made the decision to leave. This was a good business move financially. By making this decision he sacrificed his respect, his friendship, and his fan base. Although he might've sacrificed a lot he is very successful with the Warriors, he made a decision that could get him a ring.

Reflection

This has taught me to worry about me and keep the haters out. Do what's best for you and not your fan base. Although you loose respect you make a good decision in the long run.
