Mr. Chris Cullnane
Mr. Chris W. Cullnane II has been the director of libraries at Belhaven University for the past five years. Previously, he was the night librarian for 15 years and provided interlibrary loan services. He received the Master of Library Science and Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University and the Master of Divinity from Grace Theological Seminary. Cullnane has served as secretary for the Society of Mississippi Archivists and the Central Mississippi Library Council. He presently teaches bibliographic instruction for the dance and psychology departments. He is preparing a book review of John Calvin’s “Institutes of the Christian Religion”: A Biography for the Library History Roundtable of the American Library Association.
Cullnane has been married for 40 years to the former Laura Shuler from Denver, Colorado. They have five grown children: Erin, Chris, Sean, Timothy, and Anna. His favorite verse is I Corinthians 3:11.
Dr. Don Hubele
Dr. Don Hubele has been on the English faculty of Belhaven for 20 years and chaired the English department for 19 years. He was instrumental in the writing, development and implementation of the worldview curriculum. Dr. Hubele has taught in Christian higher education for 39 years, serving as a student life dean, a coach, and faculty athletic representative. He has directed a number of overseas trips to the Caribbean, Australia, Mexico, and Central America. Prior to his college teaching, Dr. Hubele chaired a high-school English department for two years, coaching a number of sports, and directing drama and publications. He received the Doctor of Arts from Middle Tennessee State University, where he studied under a full fellowship. Additionally, Dr. Hubele holds the Master of Arts from California State University, Northridge, the Bachelor of Arts from Malone College; and the Graduate of Theology from Baptist Bible College.
Dr. Hubele has been married for 24 years to the former Donna Smith from Madison Heights, Virginia. He has two sons in high school, both Eagle Scouts. His favorite verse is I Chronicles 16:11.
